Each job is different. One week brickwork, the next week block work or laying paving. We really do cover most aspects of building. This is a great opportunity to gain massive expertise in the trade. Day-to-day will involve:
?? Knocking up
?? Marta Setting out
?? Planning
?? Laying of bricks
?? Preparing for next day
?? Clearing up
You will work on concrete slabbing, cavity walls, brick and block work, pointing, patios, and extensions.
Training to be Provided:
Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Trowel Occupations
Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying
Functional Skills in Mathematics and English at Level 1
Expected Duration:
18 months

Qualifications Required:
A minimum of 4 GCSE's at grade D or 3, including at least one from English and Maths

This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship.
