They help to launch resilient teenagers who can cope with the world as it is today, and support people to take advantage of professional opportunities.The RoleYou will need excellent writing skills, attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude to turn your applications to UK funders, into success. The role is responsible for managing the administration as part of the application process and for tracking and following up applications and conducting prospect research.Main DutiesMaintain relationships and income from existing trusts and foundations Research and develop new potential trusts and foundations Target generic trusts and foundations proposals to fund core items Develop and maintain reporting and application systems and coordinate information with regional offices Work with senior managers and other teams to ensure you have the most up to date information and stats to support your applications Evaluate and report back to donors in a timely fashion on projects which have been funded Record details of applications made, funding pledged and forecast income Input and update all information onto the charitys database In return for your passion and commitment the charity offers a competitive salary,20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays and closed days), interest free loan for season tickets,the opportunity to join the voluntary contributory pension and private medical insurance schemes.They also support continuous professional development with a range of opportunities for you to hone your skills.The CandidateWe are looking for a committed, dynamic fundraiser, looking to take their next steps in their fundraising career. Its essential that you have some basic trust fundraising experience and evidence of securing income in region of 50k through any number of small applications.You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present information in a manner appropriate to the audience, including delivering presentations and telephone pitching as well as good planning and time management, with the ability to work proactively and to tight deadlines IMPORTANT NOTEOur aim is to respond to all successful applications within 5 days.
