Permanent Employment is guaranteed once the course has been finished, all examinations successfully passed and any pre-employment vetting has been satisfactorily completed.

The Training Opportunity
Registrations are now being taken, for candidates from any background to undertake a detailed training course to become a fully qualified Dual Fuel Smart Meter Installer.
All of these courses are self funded, which means that you will have to pay for the full cost of training (GBP4,750) before the course starts.
The Training
Training will be to the highest standard available (NSAP/EUSR Approved Training Centre) and this is a mix of both classroom and field based mentored installations (with the end employer).
Classroom Training takes place at the established training centre in Runcorn in Cheshire for 7 weeks. Here, you will receive intense training on electric and gas smart metering installations.
At the end of mentoring period you will need to revisit the training centre to complete your Diploma and final Qualifications.
The Employment Opportunity
Subject to applicants successfully passing the pre-employment interview and vetting process (5 years referencing, Driving Licence check and Criminal Record Checks) you will be offered a place on the training course.
GBP25,000 Basic Salary once the course has been completed and you are a fully qualified dual fuel smart meter installer
Rising to GBP30,000 from Year Two
Plus the following benefits:
20 days paid annual leave plus 8 Statutory (Bank) Holidays
Company Van

Tools and Uniform

Applicant Minimum Requirements
To be considered for these training courses you must meet the following criteria:
Be prepared to undertake technical training to a very high standard
Be able to pay for the full cost of the course, prior to starting training (GBP4,750 including VAT)
Be prepared to attend the classroom training in Runcorn, Monday to Friday.
Have a Full UK Driving License with a maximum of 6 penalty points
Have a legal right to work in the United Kingdom
