Technology & Information Risk (TIR) is part of the Global Technology organization. Its mission is to enable proactive, comprehensive, and consistent technology and information-related risk management practices across the Firm and to protect Firm information, systems, and associated infrastructure from Cyber Threats.
Team Profile
Responsible for providing guidance to IT Management; coordinate, partner, and assist in identifying, evaluating, and reporting on Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and related risk controls in a manner that meets compliance, and government regulations; Identify weaknesses in the environment and recommend business justified remedial actions.
Facilitate timely execution of internal and external testing. You will also participate in the enhancement and execution of testing and recovery planning strategies for the group, supporting the firm's adherence to the best practice principles of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR). As a member of the Risk Office you will also be responsible for the advancement of the firms DR strategy in line with the requirement to move away from a reactive model to a proactive, production resilient model.
Primary Responsibilities
- Follow established procedures to plan and coordinate the execution of resiliency and recovery test exercises
- Work closely with various Technology Engineering teams, Application Development, Business Continuity Management, Firm and Technology Risk and the global Technology Disaster Recovery team to enhance and progress the Disaster Recovery Program
- Support the Disaste r Recovery Testing program as a participant in internal test events as needed globally
Qualifications:
Required Skills
- Professional experience in technology, preferably at a large, multinational, technically complex firm
- Communication: Ability to communicate and articulate at all levels clearly and concisely, as the role involves a high amount of interaction with senior management across multiple divisions, including Business, Technology, Audit, and Firm Control organizations.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Driven and motivated self-starter with a can-do approach
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and development processes and associated IT controls required to support a fully functioning and controlled IT environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Exhibit excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.
- High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
Desired Skills:
