Do you have good DIY skills? Are you confident and assertive?
Could you supervise offenders in the community as they carry out Community Payback Sentences (formerly known as Community Service)?
We are looking for Sessional Supervisors, across Thames Valley to oversee groups of offenders with Unpaid Work Requirements working in the community. The work can be anything from clearing pathways to painting schools or conservation work. You will be given full training and can earn from GBP11.42 to GBP14.19 an hour plus extra allowances for weekend working.
You will effectively supervise offenders, maintain discipline, and ensure that work is carried out to a good standard. Excellent communication skills and a range of practical skills are essential. You must have use of a vehicle as you will be required to travel throughout the region, you will also be required to drive a people carrier.
