The role will see the post-holder work operationally to build long term support from trusts, foundations and individual major donors to help bring an end to modern slavery. Building on a strong year of growth we aim to scale up our trusts and major donor programme by investing in a growing individual giving programme, increasing and enhancing our cultivation events and working more closely with the board, senior team and programmes' colleagues to reach more potential supporters and increase transformational gifts. The Major gift programme at Anti-Slavery will see considerable investment over 2018-20 which will incorporate Anti-Slavery's 180th anniversary year in 2019. We are looking for someone who can embody our values and who shares our passion for fighting slavery. You will be a proactive, hands-on fundraiser and account manager who melds the requirements of trusts and HNWI donors with the needs of delivering on an organizational mission. You'll be someone who has an interest in human rights and who is passionate about excellence in supporter care, having worked in environments where donors are at the centre of your programme. You'll be comfortable with using a fundraising database, know how to identify value within a warm supporter base as well as experienced in generating cold leads and taking them through to warm prospect and donor. You'll be comfortable delivering bespoke stewardship that incorporates senior colleagues, board members, team and technical colleagues as well as other major donors and trustees (peer to peer) to generate influence and income that supports the world's most vulnerable people. You'll be someone who thrives in small, dynamic teams and is proactive in seizing opportunities. This role will be a key part of the organisation's sustainability and transformative change. We look forward to hearing from you.
