Inside Sales Executive

£24,000 to £27,500 per annum, plus £10,000 OTE

We achieve this by providing a broad range of software products and ancillary services that have been designed to enable local authorities and bus operators to optimise and enhance their provision of transport services. You may already have seen some of our public-facing mobile and web systems at Transport for London and Stanstead Airport.

We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full time Inside Sales Executive to join our Public Sector Enterprise team paying up to £27,500 per annum plus £10,000 OTE. The role is currently based in Staverton, we anticipate this role will be Chippenham based from summer 2018 due to current relocation plans.

This role is key for the growth and development of the business and so we will be looking for a candidate who is able to exhibit success in a sales or marketing role and will be able to hit the ground running.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, if successful, your main responsibilities will be to deliver on monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas, working closely with the external sales team to ensure delivery of these goals. You will provide market intelligence and feedback to the sales and marketing team and other departments to assist in business growth.

You will also be working with multiple departments across the business including Customer Care for help identify opportunities of back-to-base orders as well as the Marketing department following up on lead alerts to identify further sales opportunities, processing simpler orders.

The ideal candidate will have……

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in sales/business administration

Or

  • Significant sales experience in the IT/Software industry.
  • Able to exhibit a degree of success in a sales or marketing team
  • Strong experience of using CRM systems
  • Experience of working with clients in the public sector.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to close sales over the telephone
  • Strong outbound B2B telephone sales skills
