Ardagh Group Ltd, a premier supplier of glass containers to the food and beverage industry are
currently seeking to strengthen its operation with the recruitment of a Hot End Craftsman in our
Machine Repair Department and a CNC Machinist in our Mould Repair Department.
CNC Machinist - BARNSLEY
Reporting to the Mould Repair Team Leader the successful applicant should be an apprentice trained
engineer and will be responsible for inputting programming data in line with drawing requirements for
CNC machines for the manufacture of glass container components.
Other key responsibilities of the role include:
Identify programming requirements for machining relevant components
Achieve Daily targets in performance and Quality
Ensure all cutting tools are to required specification
Check all key features using measuring equipment to ensure component is manufactured to
required tolerances
Record all key dimensions electronically in line with quality assurance procedures
The ability to work unsupervised
You should also have:
Ability to operate a CNC machines
Understanding of Fanuc/Hass controls
Ability to work on mould equipment
Accuracy and attention to detail
