FOOD AND/OR TEXTILES TEACHER Full Time or 0.8fte – September 2018 start
We are seeking to appoint a teacher of Food and/or Textiles to join a successful and creative team of staff who currently contribute to delivery of our varied technology curriculum in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The suitable candidate will be able to deliver across the age range in either one or both of these areas. Within food, students study the subject for an hour a week at KS3. In KS4 students follow the NCFE Food & Cookery Cert and at KS5 they study for the Level 3 VTCT Food and Cookery Course. In Textiles, students at KS4 will study for the AQA Textiles GCSE and at KS5 they study either A-Level Art & Design Textiles course or the Pearson BTEC Level 3 in Costume.
