Nursery Unit Teaching and Learning Assistant
Hours of work: 32.5hours per week for 39 weeks per year
Grade C (£12,623 - £13,592)

We are looking for a Teaching and Learning Assistant, graduate or aspiring early years educator wishing to pursue a career in teaching, to work alongside the classroom teachers in our high performing and aspirant school.
The ideal applicants will preferably have Qualified Teacher Status, NVQ3 (or equivalent) or a degree if they aspire to train to be a teacher in the future. We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking, creative practitioners, able to motivate children. Suitable candidates will be confident in developing phonics and early reading, writing and maths skills with children from Nursery to Key Stage One.
Applicants must have Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths GCSE, be able to develop positive behaviour strategies with Nursery children, have an abundance of initiative and be a good team member.
