Administrative Assistant

Hours of work: 37 hours per week (between the times 8.00am – 4.30pm) for 39 weeks per year. Salary: £13,166 - £14,122 per annum plus access to Local Government Pension Scheme

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our busy Administration team. As our main contact on the Reception Desk you will be the face of Ernesettle Community School; taking calls, dealing with visitors face-to-face, updating ParentPay and providing high level administrative support as part of the wider Administration team.

The ideal applicants will be enthusiastic, hardworking, a multi-tasker and extremely well organised. We are looking for candidates who have professional and excellent communication skills (oral and written), a clear telephone manner, proven computer skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload whilst remaining calm under pressure.

Applicants must be able to develop positive behaviour strategies with children, have positive relationships with Parents/Carers, be a good team member and hold GCSE Grade A* - C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
