Salary: £16,439 – £16,840 FTE (Actual salary £10,491 - £10,747)
Hours: 30 hours per week, 36 weeks per year, term time only

Exeter College is looking for a Support Worker, who would welcome a fresh challenge in an FE environment. Exeter College is a Grade 1 ‘outstanding’ college and is also in The Times top 100 employers. We are looking for a 30 hour Support Worker for 36 weeks of the year, predominantly on our Paths 2 course. Paths 2 is a special educational needs course for 16-19 year olds, with small class sizes. The course subjects include: Maths, English, Cooking, Community Orientation, ICT, Life Skills, Work Skills and enrichment activities.
This post can have a care element, as well as providing educational support in class. Therefore, Exeter College is looking for a Support Worker who is willing to provide personal care and monitor simple physiotherapy programmes. Experience of providing personal care is desirable. However, full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
You must also be reliable, enthusiastic and calm. You must have a person centred approach and enjoy supporting students to realise their full potential.
