Psychological Wellbeing Support Worker - New Leaf
Competitive salary of £9 per hour
Temporary: until 31

Building Better Opportunities multi-agency Big Lottery Fund / ESF funded programme, 'New Leaf ' is an innovative project, targeting individuals furthest away from the labour market in the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) area, to help them in their journey towards employment.

Led by Warrington-based Golden Gates Housing Trust, working in partnership with 30 other organisations, New Leaf will support 2,800 individuals over a three year period, providing a tailored service, giving individual support and direction.

As an employee of Making Space you will help to provide services in the heart of local communities, in the comfort of people's own homes, and specialist care and support services. Principle accountabilities are to provide support and assist New Leaf services users to maximise their independence as part of a structured programme of menatal health care. Maintain accurate and up to date record keeping and reports and carry out assessments to determine appropriate help following the services protocols for best practice on delivery and management.

Working within a health and social care environment and experience of supporting individuals who are experiencing mental ill health is essential. Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and a recognised qualification in Psychology (or a willingness to work towards) is also an essential criteria. Due to the locations and requirement to travel you will need to have access to your own transport. The roles are working 37 hours per week and the positions available are in the following locations: -
* Warrington & Knutsford
* Crewe & Macclesfield
* Chester & Winsford
* Ellesmere Port & Northwich
