Gü are moving to their new home in Bishop`s Stortford and are looking for people who are as passionate about Puds as they are.
Gü was launched in 2003 with three products, they have since grown into one of the leading premium dessert makers in the UK. They joined the Noble food group in 2010.
As the machine operator supervisor you will be required to lead your area to deliver against daily output plans. You will actively drive performance and planned downtime activities. Collating and interpreting data used within short interval control processes to root cause any non conformances to a close. You will plan and assist in the training of your teams to maintain a multi skilled workforce. You will be required to carry out quality control activities and escalate any non conformities through the correct channels.
You will have the ability to work to targets and deadlines; with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business and effective decision making skills.
You will have experience in leading a team (6-12 months minimum) of 10 or more
A working knowledge of machinery (production and packing) is essential
Must have an understanding and experience of manufacturing systems (mixing and batching)
Good IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft office
You will have to work shifts from 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am on a four days on/four days off rotation.
The premium rate for the night shift is an additional £1 per hour between the hours of 11pm and 6am.
