We are looking to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to be based at Potters Field Park, London.
Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate:
- Previous grounds maintenance experience with the ability to identify common garden plants, pests and diseases
- Be an enthusiastic and positive team player
- Commercial awareness
- Strong supervisory and communication skills with the ability to develop the existing team.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
The main responsibilities include:
- Executing contract to specification and budget
- Leading, supporting and motivating the existing team
- Effective communication with the client and customers
- Assist in the development, planting, and on-going care of the site
- Ensure all plants and equipment are maintained
- Completing timesheets and rotas
A minimum qualification NVQ Level 2 in Amenity Horticulture or equivalent is an essential requirement. Having a PA1/PA6 spraying licence will be a distinct advantage.
