Volunteer Lottery Paperwork Scanner
Martlets lottery is looking for volunteers to help us transfer all possible hard copy lottery files onto the fundraising file server. The volunteers will be using a printer and scanner to scan documents and file them onto e-folders on the fundraising server.
Where: Martlets Fundraising & Lottery office, Unit 6 Sussex House Business Park, 270-274 Old Shoreham Road Hove, East Sussex, BN3 7DX
When: Between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Usual minimum commitment: Initially as much as possible but a minimum of 5 hours per week, which may be done on more than one day if required.
What you'll be doing:
- Removing the hard copy paperwork from the filing cabinets.
- Removing all staples, pins and clips from the paperwork.
- Scanning each individual sheet.
- Setting up folders on the Fundraising file server and allocating the scanned documents to the appropriate place.

Your skills and abilities:
- Basic understanding of scanning documents and setting up computer folders and files would be helpful but training will be given.
- Reliable and willing to work alone and as part of a team.

- To attend Martlets Welcome day and undertake any necessary training that is relevant to the role.
