Linisher

Established for over 35 years, our client is now one of the North West’s leading & multi award winning engineering companies companies, and they are looking for a motivated and driven Linisher looking to progress within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm based at their group in Coventry. You will receive a competitive salary up to £7.83 per hour.

As their Linisher you will be utilising relevant power tools to linish ferrous and nonferrous metals to remove excess material and prepare for painting / powder coating.

Responsibilities of the Linisher:

- Ability to linish metals to required standard.

- Be skilled in the use of various linishing/polishing machines, deburring tools, grinders, polishing compounds, orbital hand tools

- Complete operations within allocated time

- Improve processes

- Visual inspection of components to ensure that it meet the requirements

- Ensure compliance to Health and safety standards as directed by the Company

- Any other duties that may fit into the remit of this role as and when required

Knowledge, Skills, Experience needed to become their Linisher: 

- Self-motivated and focused

- Reliable and enthusiastic

- Able to work to deadlines efficiently and accurately

- Able to follow instructions carefully and precisely

- Good understanding of English

Working Hours: Mon to Thu 7.30am -4.00pm, Fri 7.30am – 3.00pm
