Paralegal Contracts Manager
Location: Potters Bar, North London (UK headquarters) (opposite the Potters Bar train station)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000pa
Hours: 9am - 5, Monday - Friday
Benefits: Pension/Healthcare

The role:

Due to exponential growth of the business, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a paralegal contracts manager to assist in the areas of property, commercial contracting, corporate litigation and legal/regulatory research. strategic in our group HQ based legal department.

This role will suit a paralegal contracts manager looking to move into a long term career role in the growing legal department headed by an Ivy League educated, internationally experienced lawyer ready to mentor and train the right candidate with an aptitude for learning and development.

Working at the heart of a major business with a diverse workforce, you will assist in the legal department to key stakeholders across the UK on:
* general corporate and commercial matters
* asset acquisitions, leasing arrangements, property transactions and conveyancing
* day to day issues arising from other HQ support service functions, including employment, corporate governance/compliance, dispute resolution, etc.

Key Activities include:
Assisting the Legal Department in the areas of property, commercial contracting, corporate, litigation and legal/ research.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:
* Substantial experience as a paralegal in house or within a law firm
* Excellent written verbal and written communication skills, communicating in a professional and courteous manner
* A high degree of professionalism and maturity as evidenced by punctuality.
* Attention to detail and the ability to deliver and conduct positive interactions with external and external customers
* The ability to multi-task and work under pressure using their initiative to respond to the needs of the business
* A positive attitude ad willingness to go the extra mile with a smile
* Be able to work independently as well as part of a collegial team with little direct supervision, within set parameters
