We are currently working with an industry leading manufacturer based in Blackburn, providing state of the art products to a variety of industries.
Maintenance Manager Requirements:
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
Experience and track record in an Engineering & Machinery environment
Accredited Mechanical and/or Electrical disciplines with a preference on Electrical
Exposure to SMART working practices and time management
Be able to communicate and work closely with a team of engineering
Desirable Skills:
Experience of implementing a PPM system and increasing standard of practice
Experience of managing engineer's schedules
Ability to delegate and/or show initiative as part of a team
Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
Able to effectively coordinate the Engineering Maintenance Team by providing instructions and guidance for the team
To liaise with Operations and other departments to maintain awareness of the company's engineering needs and respond appropriately with suitable tactical solutions
Contribute to the development of departmental strategies and implement PPM system.
