Senior care assistant

We are recruiting for senior care assistants to work in Flixton or Stockport, Manchester.

Shifts times available are 

* 8am-8pm, 3 days on, 3 days off  (Days)-£8.55 p/h in Flixton

* 8pm-8am, 3 nights on, 3 nights off (Nights)- £8.75 p/h in Flixton

* 8pm-8am, 3 nights on, 3 nights off  (Nights)- £9. 55 p/h in Stockport

This role is on a permanent full time basis.

Essential requirements are:

 -Must have an NVQ level 2 in health and social care.

-Have care experience with the elderly ideally in a residential home/nursing home.

-Must be self motivated, organised and compassionate.

- An active team player towards other care workers and clients and be able to work on own initiative.

-Posses good communication skills.

-Must have experience of administering medication to residents as prescribed.

-Maintenance of individual care plans and all records.

-A good understanding of safeguarding, infection control, care plans and 5 key lines of enquiries for CQC inspections
