Job Title: Payroll Officer
Location: Accrington
Salary: £20,661 to £22,658 pro rata, per annum
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent (20 hours per week)

This is an exciting opportunity to join their Human Resources team to assist in the provision of a professional payroll service for the authority, elected members and external organisations.
They are looking for an enthusiastic person with previous payroll experience to join their team.
You will need to have a working knowledge of Pay as You Earn (PAYE) calculations, have proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs, as well as having a positive can-do attitude. You will need to be flexible and self-motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills, be capable of working on your own initiative, dealing with a busy and varied workload to tight deadlines.
