Supply Chain leadership role within a global business.

Your new company
An opportunity to join an international business with operations on over 70 countries and regions, with in excess of 150,000 employees globally in a management level role in Supply Chain where you will lead an end to end supply chain function. An ideal role for someone that is looking to join an organisation where you have the ability to take the next step in your career within large corporate business to drive change across a multi-functional teams.

Your new role
You will take accountability for the strategy around and the operational execution of short, medium and long term schedules to supply UK based production plants with raw materials mainly from the Americas; ensuring the on time delivery of products to customer sites in the UK and Europe; throughout the whole supply chain you will have to take into account constraints across production, logistics, storage and cost.

A key facet of the role will be to undertake the direct management and leadership of a supply chain team based in Lincolnshire comprising supply chain planning, customer service and contract management functions; along with a further team based in continental Europe, which will require an element of travel. Along with ensuring a seamless supply chain operation you will also lead on internal projects including systems changes, cost reduction projects and improving supply chain planning processes.

What you'll need to succeed
This is an ideal opportunity for someone of graduate calibre who has progressed their career throughout supply chain planning and execution; and can demonstrate a clear record of delivering improvements within this area such as cost savings and service improvements. In addition to the supply chain knowledge, you should be able to demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills and thrive on successfully managing change. Behaviourally you will need to be strong, whilst being sensitive to the team's needs and a good motivator and advocate for change.
