Night Shift Manager

Job Title - Night Shift Manager

Department - Production

You will plan, coordinate and control the development of the operators, machines and shift. Ensure all targets are met. You will be responsible for the H&S and welfare of all employees during your shift.

Key Responsibilities;

• Promote and develop safe working environment
• Develop the best practice with an audit mindset
• Work with the production manager to implement agreed policies
• Work with other shift managers to ensure all productions are following the same guidelines
• Assist and design a production training program
• Ensure all staff follow the correct training guidelines
• Encourage operator machine ownership and ensure all machinery and equipment is well maintained
• Monitor annual budgets
• Ensure materials and labour are kept on budget
• Remain responsive
• Be approachable for all staff members
• Follow all H&S policies
• Work towards set KPI's, reports and monitor all staff members
• Use SAP and organise plans
• Be able to mould into the ways of the clients
• Ensure discipline and control is maintained with your team
• Deliver class standards throughout the shift
• Ensure standardisation across all shifts and departments

Experience and Qualifications needed;

• Experience working in fast paced environment
• Experience in production line
• LSS GB certified or willing to work towards
• Excellent approach and mentoring experience is needed for this role
• Excellent communication to other management members and staff members
• Working well within a team

An amazing training program is on offer - 6 months training provided before.

This will be a Night Shift Manager position which will be a shfit pattern on 6pm to 6am , 4 on 4 off. However, for the training you will be on a day shift pattern 6am - 6pm.
