Housing Officer

A fantastic opportunity has been made available for a Housing Officer's position based in East Midlands. It is a full time role for a period of three months. As part of the role, you will be expected to examine cases, maintain a direct involvement, identify the factors and develop appropriate actions in line with the priorities and practices of the organisation. Part of the role will require you to contribute to the overall performance of the Directorate through personal performance, co-operation with other groups and in support of initiatives as approved by the Strategic Manager - Landlord Services. You will need to establish and maintain good lines of communication within the housing team, the organisation and with outside agencies concerning matters relating to the area and services managed. You will need to be effective and efficient in the provision of comprehensive landlord functions giving general advice and assistance to tenants and leaseholders. As a Housing Officer, you will need to provide all appropriate tenancy support and advice to tenants of the area, including visits to ensure Tenancy Conditions are adhered to. Ideal candidate must have experience of Rent, Tenancy, Court and must be very familiar with the HOULIVE module of Northgate system.
