How we work:
Warwickshire Disability is a short breaks project that supports disabled children and their families by providing overnight short breaks.
We have an extremely dedicated and professional staff team that work in a sensitive and caring way, their aim is to keep the children safe whilst providing them with positive, life enhancing, experiences. The staff team are committed to the children and put them first in all their planning processes
They aim is also to build positive relationships with families, young people and other professionals.
The project is a very homely welcoming environment, which enables young people to enjoy staying away from home, bedrooms are personalised to young people’s choices, and they are also encouraged to bring familiar toys, items to help enhance their stay.

What you’ll need:
- What you will need: preferably VQ3, equivalent, or willing to work towards this qualification.
- Experience of working with young people with learning disabilities and limited communication.
- This position is a regular Saturday night. (sleep in staff also on premises)
- Duties include supervision and checks of young people.
- Personal care duties
- Help staff team get young people ready for school
