Senior/Mechanical Design Engineer - Hampshire - Salary DOE

iO Associates are working with a company based on the South Coast who provide engineering solutions to the nuclear sector including products such as containment technology, transport & packaging.

My client is looking to rapidly expand the size of their business over the next few years for some major upcoming projects to enable them to deliver on these new enquiries coming in.

They are looking for Senior and mid-level Mechanical Design Engineers to join their business at this exciting and crucial time.

Responsibilities:

Produce engineering designs and associated engineering documents
Producing required technical engineering documentation
To work on smaller, individual projects as well as working as part of a team on much larger projects
Carry out work with minimal supervision, reporting into Engineering Managers and Heads of Department
Project work, in addition to design, will comprise all aspects of the design process such as draughting and testing of products

Requirements

Concept, scheme and detail design engineering
Proficient user of SolidWorks 3D CAD software
Degree, HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar industry related degree
Significant experience in the Nuclear industry or other similar industries
