Experis are recruiting on behalf of our Client a leading Engineering Support Services organisation are recruiting for an experienced Risk Management/Project Controls professional to join their team in the North West to carry out risk management and assessment across their Programme Portfolio.

The main responsibilities of this role are as follows -

  • Facilitate identification, assessment and prioritisation of risks, opportunities and issues across the account
  • Maintain visibility of risk/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget or retirement of risk/opportunity
  • Assist with the identification and recording of appropriate management responses to help deliver target positions
  • Work with contractors, where applicable, to assess contractor held risks and their views on sub-programme held risks that impact upon them
  • Maintain an awareness of risks in other accounts and their potential impact on this portfolio
  • Monitor identification and close-out of account issues
  • Produce risk based reports as required in a timely manner to support the effective communication of risk and opportunity status
  • Maintain Risk Register supporting time & cost risk modelling
  • Support the development of appropriate account working practices
  • Work in adherence to the appropriate customer processes and account working practices/processes

The successful candidate will display the following skills and experience -

  • Fully familiar with PRA (or have extensive experience with other risk modelling software packages); Primavera P6 scheduling software and MS Excel
  • Experience within Risk Management or Project Controls
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • High level of numeracy
  • Proactive
  • Can consider professionals who have some experience of risk modelling in their current role but are looking to develop into Risk Management as a core profession
  • Must be able to gain and maintain UK SC level Security Clearance
  • Flexible for occasional UK wide travel as per the demands of the projects in the Portfolio you will be providing risk modelling for
