Our client is the College of choice for land-based and land-related learning. They are passionate about animals, plants and the great outdoors and care for all creatures great and small.

Due to growth in student numbers they have an opportunity for a Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing to contribute to predominantly HE programmes within the Veterinary Nursing Section at the York centre.  With high-quality teaching and learning facilities, their Centres provide students with the essential theoretical expertise and an appreciation of the practical skills necessary to undertake the role within the profession.

You will be joining a dedicated delivery team of Registered Veterinary Nurses or Veterinary Surgeons, with experience of the industry contributing fully to the promotion of and student satisfaction of the College and Centres.

Acting as course manager for specified programmes you will demonstrate the ability to influence retention and success rates. Previous experience in teaching FE and HE, as well as supporting students with research would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) or member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS). Experience of working within a Veterinary practice, together with supporting veterinary nurse training is essential. On occasions you will be required to work at different centres.
