Dance Coach - Brentwood

Dance Coach - Brentwood, Essex Academies of Sport offer creative dance academies in the school holidays, covering many genres of dance blending movement, music and improvisation. We are looking for inspiring professional dance teachers/choreographers to take the performers through dance warm ups, energetic classes covering a variety of dance styles so that students come away with new moves and routines, culminating in an end of academy performance to showcase what they have learned. Responsibilities Dance coaches will be required to: Show energy, a positive attitude and enthusiasm Deliver excellent, energetic dance sessions Develop and progress sessions for the various ages and abilities Provide challenging content in a safe learning environment Communicate effectively with children and their parents/ guardians if required Analyse performance and suggest areas of improvement Have very good knowledge in all aspects of your discipline Requirements Highly experienced dance teacher / choreographer A range of experience, knowledge and understanding of dance Able to deliver excellent structured dance sessions where all children are learning, developing, being stretched, challenged and having fun. Good communication skills Approachable, patient, and above all, passionate about dance!
