Salary: GBP22,034.16 plus GBP704 geographical allowance per annum (FTE GBP27,542.70 plus GBP880 geographical allowance) Hours: 30 hours per week Location: Reading The Role Together is an amazing place to work. It's because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do - supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to oversee Together's Reading Your Way service, a dynamic mental health community support service for people living across the Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire regions. The service provides vital 1-1 goal focussed support, a broad ranging programme of group activities & workshops and has a long tradition of delivering an innovative peer support service. We ensure that lived experience is at the heart of everything that we do so effective service user involvement is integral to the success of the service. Able to manage a varied and demanding workload, you will use your prior experience of managing mental health services to motivate and guide a staff team to provide the highest quality support. You will apply current relevant legislation to the running of the service and ensure it delivers high-quality goal-focussed support with the aim of connecting people to community resources, building their resilience and aiding recovery. Building on an already solid foundation of partnership working, you will use your stakeholder management skills to foster strong networks, ensuring the service is connected to organisations and agencies providing support in the region. You will promote a culture of inclusion and act as a champion for service user leadership, encouraging those using the service to direct their own support and contribute to shaping the way the service is run. Outcomes-focused and experienced in managing resources and budgets, you will ensure the efficient running of the service in line with Together's ethos and policies.
