Full-time (37 hours per week) Parks/Grounds Staff contract to start on 02-04-18 until 28-09-18 with a possible extension.
Must be prepared to work flexibly and this may include working after the standard working day and/or weekends.
This is a physically demanding role utilising grounds maintenance machinery (the role will largely be mowing grass).
Purpose of Job
The purpose of this post is to carry out hard & soft landscape construction work in open spaces within the Bath and North East Somerset area to a very high standard.
Qualifications Knowledge & Experience
• Good overall knowledge of hard & soft landscape construction.
• A recognised qualification in horticulture or studying towards a recognised qualification i.e. National Certificate in Horticulture, BTEC Level 2 Horticulture.
• PA1 & PA6a Pesticide application certificates.
• Good working knowledge of plants and there applications.
• Clean current driving licence
