Our client is a FTSE 100 company based in central London. The business is highly acquisitive and performing very well across the Group, with significant share price accretion over the last 18 months. A rare opportunity now exists to join the senior management team in a high profile role.

The successful individual will play a major leadership role in supporting the Group Financial Controller and CFO in driving on-going improvements to the Group. This is a newly created role, which will combine the accountabilities of the previous FP&A Director with the Operational Insight function, to deliver a truly global leading insight and analytics team. This role has four direct reports, and will be driving step change improvements to the Group's financial and operational reporting and performance management routine. You will lead the annual Budgeting process across the P&L, balance sheet and cashflow. The incumbent will also have ownership of the Group 5-year strategic planning cycle, Group capital investment model and post investment appraisals. Leveraging the Group's operational data tool in conjunction with financial outputs you will deliver a first-class analytical framework and performance pack for the Board as well commentaries, presentations and analysis for the IR team, Analyst community and external shareholders.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a first class academic background and a demonstrable track record of achievement to date. You will have experience of working highly complex analytical roles, ideally with leadership experience in the FP&A function of a major listed group. Possessing strong leadership and communications skills, you will have a high degree of energy, a positive outlook and real drive and passion for progression both personally and for the company.
