Meraki Talent is actively short listing for a Technical Support Engineer. Working closely with project delivery teams to seamlessly transition new and updated services into operation. This would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced 3rd line/Technical Engineer looking for more breadth and more responsibility.
Responsibilities of the Technical Support Engineer (3rd line):
- Responsible for maintaining the health of services in operation through day to day hygiene tasks and representing service health metrics
- Contribute to projects to achieve successful service transition
- Promote continual improvement initiatives for services to mitigate risk and increase value
- Provide 3rd line help desk escalation for operational services
- Collaborate with the wider IT Operations team on solutions and best practice as-well as representing any service delivery requirements and feature requests
- Collaborate and work effectively across internal functional areas as well as with external parties as required
Background of the Technical Support Engineer (3rd line):
- Strong service management skills and experience essential for this role
- Experience in managing vendors and third parties essential
- Experience working directly within a 3rd line capacity essential
- A strong knowledge of Office 365 essential
- Strong knowledge of SCCM essential
- Experience transitioning a technical project into a service operation preferable
