Flood Risk Engineer- Milton Keynes

My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Flood Risk Engineer to join their supportive team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based in Milton Keynes.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Hydrology or Environmental Management and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessment and Surface Water Management Plans.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Drainage Strategy or Drainage Designs using AutoCAD or Microdrainage.

As a Flood Risk Engineer you will have the opportunity to join an experienced team to work on varied Flood Risk, Hydrological, Hydraulic Modelling, Surface Water and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Local Authorities.

Applicants will also be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Catchment Management Plans, Hydrological Analysis, Flood Mitigation, Flood Estimation, Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller, Surface Water Drainage Strategy and Drainage Design using using Microdrainage.

You will be trained by the experienced team and have the opportunity to be trained in Microdrainage and detailed design.
