An exciting opportunity has become available within our Property Services Division working with our Stock Investment team.

Do you have a keen interest in property, with a commitment to health and safety? Do you have asbestos-specific qualifications, with experience of legislative compliance? Could you bring new ideas to an already thriving team and exceptional service? If so, we would like to hear from you.

The Stock Investment team is responsible for the long-term planning of capital investment activity to maintain City of Wolverhampton Council’s social housing portfolio, through:

  • undertaking stock condition and compliance surveys
  • optimising the use of assets within the social housing
  • maximising the sustainability of the social housing
  • developing designs for the capital projects and controlling the project expenditure

The successful candidate will be qualified in asbestos safety; for example, BOHS P402 / P405 certificates; with experience of managing asbestos safety compliance within complex property types, such as high-rise blocks of flats.
