Apprentice Warehouse Operative - Billingshurst - GBP154.00

Main duties to include assisting refurbishment team in daily tasks and Quality Control of our Grade A stock. Basic stock control and warehouse admin also included and can be increased based on confidence.

Successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our experienced Engineers gaining understanding of advanced warehouse management in addition to basic knowledge of the IT and Telecoms industry.

Salary negotiable depending on experience/skill level.

Daily refreshments are available (Tea, coffee, filtered water) as well as access to kitchen area and chill out room for lunch.

Training to be Provided:

-Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Warehousing and Storage -Functional Skills in Mathematics and English at Level 1.

1 Year

•Maths/English GCSE or equivalent

Future Prospects:

Previous Apprentices have been offered full time positions after completing their course. On progression of their skills they have been promoted within their team and put forward for holiday cover of senior colleagues.

Other Important Information:

The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is GBP3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

Reality Check:

Warehouse is based within walking distance of Billingshurst Train station and Tesco extra. No requirement for transport. You will need to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK (UK Passport or ID Card)
