Location: Manchester City Centre
We are looking for an Audio Typist to work in one of our government department. You will provide junior management support and carry out administrative duties that are moderately complex. You will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
Produce or edit various documents, such as reports, correspondence and presentations
Gathering data to create documents from scratch or from existing materials
Performing typing and word processing work along with other office or clerical duties as assigned
Copy typing - working from hand-written notes or typing while listening to spoken notes on audio tape
Shorthand typing would be an advantage
Suitable candidates would need to have a criminal check and references for last 3 years and would need to have good written, oral and computer skills
It is a full time role - Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £ 7/hr rising after 12 weeks to £10/hr
