Software Engineering Manager As Software Engineering Manager you willlead a team of around ten, assisting in problem solving, implementingand maintaining software features. You will be comfortable working in afast paced environment with Agile Software Development background andexperience. As Software Engineering Manager your key duties willinclude: Primary responsibility for the efficient organisation andagile development of the engineering team (around 10 people) toguarantee the achievement of the department and company goals. Coordination with the CTO and Product Management - and the ChiefSoftware Architect, to define the Product backlog, to lay out projectspecifications and to identify the technical risks and the correspondingmitigation plan. Responsible to define, plan, execute and monitor thesoftware releases, working closely with internal and external teams tomeet deadlines in line with business requirements. Involvement insetting and controlling the engineering team annual budget incoordination with CTO and COO. Day to day management of workload andwork schedules according to the Agile Process Methodology (SAFE) Hands-on activities, and support to the team members to plan and monitorexecution. Direct coordination of production, operations, qualityassurance, testing, and maintenance of the Product. Establishment of asmooth and effective communication with the other Engineering Managersof the Group across Europe Diary support to the team, to motivate andmove it forward, in order to achieve challenging business objectives Keyskills and experience required: Bachelor of Science in Engineering orComputer Science (or equivalent) preferred Experience usingC#/Java/SQL software development is essential The successful applicantwill be able to demonstrate experience managing an engineering teamdeveloping, implementing, and maintaining software using an agiledevelopment process. Project management, planning, problem solving,inter-personal and time-management skills Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills as well as the ability to motivate and lead a team Team player, flexible, accurate, hands-on mentality Leadershipskills, enthusiasm, pride and a "can-do" attitude Excellenttime management and organization, deadline focused.
