Mosscare St Vincent’s (MSV) is a new, dynamic Housing Association formed by the merger of the two strong and resilient housing providers who have a shared history in providing excellent quality services to our customers.  Working across the North West and Greater Manchester we aim to remain true to our mission, values and vision and to making a difference in the communities we serve and wider neighbourhoods.

MSV’s Property Services division provides day to day, void and capital works programmes across the group and we are looking for experienced Multi Skilled Joiners with plumbing experience to join the team.

The purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive multi trade service for the Group with a focus on joinery and general maintenance works, with a special emphasis on Fire Risk works, and with a working knowledge and ability to deliver some minor plumbing, plastering, tiling and painting work.

As a key member of the Property Services team, you will carry out a variety of maintenance works, in particular Fire Risk Works, and be accomplished with the use of basic power and hand tools. You will be able to measure and order materials. You will also be familiar with the safe and correct operation of power tools and the ability to work at heights.

The successful candidate will have experience of working on maintenance of domestic and commercial properties and have a strong commitment to high quality customer service.  With previous experience of working on Fire Risk works and with multi trades, you will be able to carry out duties under minimum supervision and as part of a team.  Joinery skills are essential and you will have a flexible approach to working in a variety of working conditions as well as being able to establish and maintain good customer relationships.

The successful applicant will also need a full UK driving license and possess a full well maintained tool kit at all times.

You will enjoy an excellent benefits package including a pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement.

Applications from female candidates are particularly encouraged, as women are currently underrepresented in these positions in the Group.
