We have a great opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Support Worker in Knapwell, Cambridge. We have a number of flexible part time roles available working from 21 to 35 hours per week.

About the role 
As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to achieve their personal outcomes, in a variety of activities both at the centre and out in the community. You will also be supporting them with personal care and developing communication skills.

Being a Sense Support Worker can be the springboard to your future career - and to all sorts of opportunities and management roles. This provides an excellent opportunity for people considering a career in care to gain practical experience and benefit from the comprehensive training Sense offers.

We also have casual (bank) opportunities in this area attracting an hourly rate of £7.50.

About you 
Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives.

Flexibility is needed as working times do vary, we are looking for people with a range of availability between the hours of 9:15 and 16:15, Monday to Friday.

Cambridge Resource Centre is located in Knapwell, approximately 10 miles outside of Cambridge. We are not located on a public transport route, so it essential that applicants have alternative means of travel.
