Premier Hair Stylist

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at The Ritz Salon for a Premier Stylist. The Ritz Salon is located on the 7th Floor of the hotel and is home to the ultimate in relaxation, whilst remaining as popular as ever for hairdressing and styling.
As Premier Stylist, you will be dealing with a mixture of high profile clients that require both classical and contemporary styles. The ideal applicant will be confident communicating to both internal and external guests, qualified to NVQ (or equivalent) level 2 in hairdressing (level 3 qualification would be desirable) and will have a real passion for the industry.
To succeed in this role you will have the ability to work under pressure with the capability to use your initiative. Flexibility is a must, as you will be required to work early/late shifts and weekends. Your passion for the industry will ensure that you are up to date with the latest fashions and trends and your presentation will be immaculate at all times.
Entry Requirements:
• Proven salon experience• NVQ (or equivalent) level 2 in hairdressing is essential• NVQ (or equivalent) level 3 in hairdressing is desirable• Knowledge of L'oreal products• Experience using Premier core would be advantageous• Enthusiastic in delivering service excellence• Attention to detail• Ability to work under pressure• Strong organisational and administrative skills• Excellent customer service skills• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written• Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
