CAD Engineer

The Role - Mechanical Design Engineer

The principle job activity is the commercial design and detailing of engineering components using 3D Inventor. The work is varied and most of the systems are bespoke engineering solutions and will involve, design, detailing drawings, issuing drawings and creating part lists, site surveys, liaising with project managers and clients as required.

The Company

A Leicestershire based business with over 40 years experience specialising in bespoke designed machinery, conveyors and food industry applications, providing a full service from concept to installation of the finished products.

The Right Person

The successful candidate will have sound practical engineering knowledge and a minimum of 4 years industry experience. Experience of conveyor systems and associated equipment, including platforms and walkways and or automated systems, pneumatics, sheet metal work and machined parts. Food industry experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• CAD Design (3D Inventor)

• Detailing Drawings

• Issuing drawings and creating part lists

• Site surveys

• Liaising with Project managers and clients as required
