Night Support Worker / Night Care Specialist

This is an opportunity to work for a organisation who specialise in therapeutic residential care for adolescents with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The home supports upto five young people aged 12-18 years old.

In the role as Child Support Worker you will work as part of a small team providing high quality care to the young people in the service. You will be a positive role model and develop a functional approach to the children who are likely to have been rejected or who have issues in coming to terms with their behaviour.

We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting young people and have a desire to make a difference in their lives!

Alongside this you will need a minimum of 12 months experience working in a setting with children or in health and social care.

You will have the ability to promote positive and appropriate relationships with young people and have good communication skills.
Due to the age of the young people you will need to be 22 years of age or over.

Your Salary will be between £20, 780 - £23, 000 per annum. You will have 5 weeks pro rota! You will also be provided with a selection of great training. A pension scheme is provided as well.
