An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a passionate and motivated individual to join us as Finance Manager covering the North East and Scotland. 

Within this role, you will support the FD and the successful development of the business by delivering first class management information, plans, forecasts, analysis and explanation.  You will also support non-Finance managers in the delivery of good business and will ensure high quality reporting from Social Housing region to Group. 

In order to be successful in this role, you will be a CCAB qualified Accountant and will have substantial experience in an accounting environment, preferably within Social Housing.

With experience of developing and implementing finance procedures, you should have a track record in improving services and performance and will have knowledge of Financial IT systems, preferably SUN.

In addition, it is essential that you understand the requirements of an audit and internal controls and have strong general Accountancy knowledge.

You need to be driven, focused yet empathetic, and will be able to motivate your team to deliver great customer service at the same time as meeting finance deadlines.
