Group Health & Safety Administrator.

Location – Leicester, England, United Kingdom.

Contract – Permanent

Working Hours – 37.5 Hours per week.

Salary – Attractive Salary + Company benefits.

We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Administrator to assist our busy office by providing support to the Health & Safety team, who advise on all health and safety matters across our Group.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an individual to join a well-established company and become part of the Jelson team.  

We are looking for a candidate whose role would be to: -

  • Provide administrative support to all members of the Health & Safety team.
  • Compile and prepare reports as and when required.
  • Update and maintain near miss, incident and accident data.
  • Take and distribute minutes from meetings.
  • Maintain internal group systems and procedures as required.
  • Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Create and update records and databases

 

Qualifications and attributes of Candidate:

  • NVQ or BTEC in Business & Administration (minimum)
  • Full knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, Publisher and Powerpoint) (essential)
  • Full driving License (desirable)
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Be focused on maintaining performance & continual improvement.
  • Be organised and be able to prioritise work load.
  • Have good attention to detail and have a desire to show initiative.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as a team as well as an individual.
  • Good telephone manner and the ability to keep confidential information.
