The Company is a leading provider of software and services to the UK financial services industry, and a fast growing and successful brand. This is an exciting time to join them and lead their Marketing function to drive and support both new business acquisition and customer retention.

As Head of Marketing you'll report to their Commercial Director and participate as a member of the operational management team. You'll lead and manage a team of five, utilising the full marketing mix to promote all company products and services to all segments of the UK financial services industry. You'll also be responsible for building and managing the company brand.

This is a busy and challenging role, with a high level of visibility and accountability and the opportunity to have a significant impact on the achievement of challenging growth targets. At the same time, it's a very hands-on role -involved in day-to-day tactical delivery as well as contributing to strategic decision making.

This could be an ideal opportunity for some looking to take their first step into leading a marketing function.

To work effectively within the company culture, you'll need to be collaborative, results-oriented and passionate. You'll also need to be adaptable, resourceful and pragmatic - able to work well in an agile, responsive environment.

Candidates need to have previous experience of managing and delivering the full marketing mix including:

• proposition development and management
• product/service marketing & campaigns
• communications, including PR
• content marketing

Ideally, this experience will have been gained within a B2B environment and any experience within financial services is highly desirable. The role will require you to develop an excellent understanding of the UK financial services industry, including detailed knowledge of the full range of financial products and how these are distributed to consumers.
