Job Title: UI Developer
Location: Haddenham near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + generous benefits

The Company's software solutions support all layers of the financial services industry - helping product providers to design, market and sell financial products and helping financial advisers to provide compliant advice.
Due to some exciting growth opportunities ahead of them, they're currently expanding their software delivery teams in order to accelerate their product development. Therefore, they're looking for a talented UI Developer to join them.
Key Responsibilities:
- You'll be working closely with the UX Developer/Designer to improve new and existing workflows in their applications, taking design ideas and seeing them through to production
- You will have excellent communication skills in conversing and writing emails
- You'll also be comfortable participating in design and idea white-board discussions and delivering demos
- You will have an eye for design and attention to detail
- You'll be working in a development team of generalists that have strong C sharp, JavaScript and database skills, but they'll be looking to you to navigate them through what's expected of the UI
- You'll be focused on maintaining and creating new components for their web-based applications; implementing to the UX guidelines, standards and best practices ensuring their front-end functionality is highly usable, scalable and maintainable
- You'll be comfortable participating in estimation and planning meetings
- You'll need to easily pick up new skills and technologies, and be eager to share ideas with the development team
- You'll be comfortable working in a environment using Visual Studio for writing your front-end code
Key Skills:
- AngularJS 1+
- HTML5, CSS/CSS3/SASS, JavaScript and more
- Experience with responsive design, cross-browser development and capable of writing tests for your code
- Knowledge and understanding of usability issues, W3C, web standards
- Familiarity with MVC website / single page architecture
- Experience with Sketch or a similar design tool

This role is based at their offices in Haddenham, near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire. They are within easy commuting distance of Thame, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Tring, Bicester, Abingdon, Oxford etc. People don't tend to commute far (perhaps 30 minute drive max in general) so location is a real challenge for recruitment.
