4 day week Thursday to Sunday 15:00 - 23:15
Our fabulous client based in Crewkerne is looking to hire 2 x dairy operatives
This is a long term position leading to permanent employment
Working the late shift (3pm-11.15pm) Friday to Tuesday; you will run dairy machinery, load and unload tankers and operate forklifts, ensuring your workstation is clean at all times.
The hourly rate begins at GBP7.80 (overtime paying GBP9.80p/h) + shift allowance. After 12 full weeks in the company, your hourly wage will rise to GBP9.00 and the overtime rate is GBP11 p/h
Our client is looking for someone with an ability to learn a routine and remember it, we need someone who is committed to learning and has a positive attitude towards hard work.
Job Description:
Assisting with the running of separators and pasteurisers via a manual control panel
The movement of bulk containers around the dairy
The reading of customer information and correct labelling of product
Hygiene and cleaning of area of work
Completion of legally required paperwork
Knowledge of HACCP an advantage. (will be trained)
Level 2 food hygiene an advantage (will be trained)
Forklift license an advantage
This position would suit someone who wishes to progress in a career with the potential to lead on to other possible roles in an ever developing company and industry.
This is an ongoing position, becoming a permanent placement
