Our client is Europe's largest nature conservation charity and they are looking for an experienced and highly organised individual to be the PA to the Regional Director in the Midlands and the Regional Office Manager.

Contract: 12 months
Your role will be to take on tasks and areas of work that enable the Regional Director to make best use of her time, as well as ensuring that the day-to-day running of the office is smooth and efficient. In this exciting and inclusive role, you will also be responsible for administrative processes that underpin this charity in the Midlands and work alongside the other administrators within the various teams to create and sustain a holistic administration operation within the region.
The charity are looking for candidates who are self motivated and pride themselves on delivering high standards. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisational, time management and administration skills alongside a proactive attitude and thrive on variety, change and a fast paced work place. They will bring a solutions focused approach to juggling and delivering a variety of tasks from managing diaries to producing minutes to managing the office premises to budget management to leading and overseeing a small administration team.
Experience and understanding in handling confidential issues is essential and an interest in wildlife and conservation would be a distinct advantage. You will be comfortable working cooperatively with a wide range of people at all levels internally and externally.
This Charity in The Midlands
The region is part of their UK Countries Directorate of the organisation and its role is to deliver the charity's priorities for nature and people across the 14 Midland counties. Currently, there are around 80 staff based in Birmingham and out-posted across their reserves and region. The team is supported by many volunteers, members and local groups all working together to save nature in this special place.
They are organised across four areas; Reserves - who lead the work to manage our network of nature reserves, including making sure that the public enjoy any visits they make; Conservation - who lead the work to improve the management of the wider countryside to protect threatened habitats and species and deliver conservation priorities; Public Affairs - who lead the work on connecting people to nature, volunteering and communications; and Fundraising.
