Fantastic Career Opportunity : Our client is one of the leading Bespoke clothing supplier based in the West Midlands , now seeking a tenacious , self driven BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXEC to join their sales team. Ideally you will have clothing / textile knowledge ,strong negotiation skills and ability to build lasting relationships. You must be a team player ,friendly and professional with a creative flair.
To actively develop and generate new revenue streams for the company to achieve sustainable financial growth. To define long term strategic targets and build relationships with key potential clients. To be responsible for updating, growing and maintaining the sales pipeline. To assist with the development and project management of other business wide, international sales strategies as required.
Achieving agreed new business sales target and gross margin % target
Prospecting for potential new clients through building and maintaining a sales pipeline both in the UK and Europe
Produce professional written proposal content
Identify key decision makers within targeted organisations
Work with sales & marketing exec to develop marketing and PR materials to promote the company.
Creative development of Sales Presentations
Develop USP 's by maintaining a thorough knowledge of the market and competitor activity
Attend relevant trade events and conferences to increase awareness of the company
Carry out research to establish company's positioning and awareness with input into the Sales pipeline.
Communicate and report regularly with all key business stakeholders.
To assist with the development and project management of any other business wide sales strategies
Proven sales track record in clothing & textiles based industry or similar. Strong Sales Negotiator. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills , High level of interpersonal skills , Good level of project management skills , Good IT appreciation and ability. High level of organisation and excellent attention to detail. High level of ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines , Proactive and forward thinking. High level of garment and textile industry
Excellent commercial awareness.
